lms is using udp for the audiostreams and udp is a protocol without
errorhandling.
So a minor hickup in the ethernet/network cant do this.

You may should add triodes pluginplayer on your lms server - that acts
as a squeezeliteplayer resided on you local lms server and uses minimal
network paths to the lms as possible.

If the hickups even there with the localplayer and everytime on the same
files - the error may be there.
These files are cbr(if mp3) not vbr?

Did you check your cabling (ethernetcable not cracked/broken/bent with
cable covers is white)?

And of course there are "easy" tracks and "hard" tracks - my best sample
in my collection is Depeche Mode A Question of Time [CDBONG 12] - its
really hard to play that without these anoying peaks (cause some peaks
are on the CD and when these are not really good converted [even with
320 cbr] the peaks are annoying.
