I had originally posted my issue in the SBT forum, until I found out that LMS 7.9 has intentionally disabled crossfading between tracks with different sample rates. When playing a random mix, it's annoying to have my hi-res tracks not crossfade with my regular 16/44 tracks. I went as far as trying to force SoX to resample all tracks to the same sample rate. When upsampling all tracks to 192, it resulted in crossfading not working at all. When downsampling all tracks to 44.1, I had the same results as not resampling at all. Even though hi-res tracks were coming in to the SBT at 24/44.1, crossfading would still not work for those tracks. Is there any way this feature can be re-enabled? Is there a specific reason why this was disabled in the first place? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
