Hi, I am considering installing 7.9 but have not found the information I need upfront.
- When is 7.9 becoming officially released approximately (i.e. is it worth to install beta)? - What are benefits over 7.8? - What are disadvantages compared to 7.8? I.e. anything not yet working in 7.9? - Which version to install? The versions puzzle me. I know where to find the nightlies, but that should not be the way to go, or? Normally, there is some kind of last good maintained over some time to make sure people are not installing a build which has introduced a couple of bugs. Also, a last good build would ensure that at least many people run the same version. Regarding the benefits, I have seen the "Music subset" options (e.g., "Classical by composer") which I like, but I don't know of any other advantages. If there is a web site that answers some of my questions, feel free to rtfm me; I just havent found it.
