I don't know. The errors you get are due to lack of collation string.
That string is based on the language you're using - but should never be
empty. You don't use a custom-strings file or something?

Are you using the UPnP funcitonality of LMS? Do you use it to access
photos and movies? If not, make sure you disable the UPnP plugin and try
again.
