then it didn't work (didn't upgrade). I'm not sure what problem you're having. I'm no linux expert. I can copy and paste commands that others have provided. The commands i've posted have worked on three different vortxbox appliance upgrades to LMS 7.9 (ver 2.3) that I have, with no problems. That' s all I know unfortunately.
