A question concerning OS X, rather than the Linux flavors you are worried about. I have LMS server running on a headless Mac Mini. The only way I have to update LMS is to VNC into the server and click on various buttons and enter admin password etc. Can this process be simplified, say via a command line instruction that could simply be entered by ssh? Preferably with no further user interaction (entering admin password). Can we take this further like, say, Dropbox which has carried this to a extreme: doing updates automatically without any user intervention?
