(It seems to me that this is a brader issue, since I also had a similar behavior on other podcasts.
Unfortunately I have to agree. It seems as if the http protocol handler behaved slightly different than https when there was no bitrate header available. In this case it does open the same address twice, which fails for https, but does not for http.
