Not much of a help from me, I'm afraid, but a couple of suggestions. Can you verify the Squeezelite client is installed and working correctly on the Beaglebone?
If it is, then my suggestion would be to get another sd card (or use the one you have) and run (the latest and greatest)LMS on pICorePlayer.
