The URL that BBC says is the one to use is below - perhaps a UK user can test if it is stil alive as a non-UK user I can't test. http://open.live.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/5/select/version/2.0/mediaset/http-icy-aac-lc-a/format/pls/proto/http/transferformat/hls/vpid/bbc_radio_three.pls The 2015 Blog entry about this stream is here http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet/entries/d031b300-721a-4df5-8506-723303f2887e - BBC planned for it to go away with other Shoutcast streams once enough internet radio devices implemented HLS and DASH. > When I choose "BBC iPlayer" then "Listen Live" it only shows me a single > Radio 3 icon, and I couldn't see any way of telling what the bitrate > was. Now I see when I click it to actually play it, it comes up as > 320kbps CBR, aac DASH streams only have one URL. With DASH, between the server and the player , the "best" speed is supposed to be chosen depending quality of network link and range of available bitrates. The Plugin's DASH implementation only does a simple impementation - provides a Plugin Setting to "use highest bitrate" or " use lowest bitrate". If "highest" results in stuttering change down to "lowest" setting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109303 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
