Same issue here. Installed 2.04 and it works. Found that the script Custom.pm was owned by admin and after. Used chown to give ownership to squeezebox but after restart ownership reverted back to admin. Seems the startup script is acting up. My messages are similar as user that already listed .err file earlier. Good luck fixing this and please keep up the good work.
