I truly wish webdevelopers had been more eager to support Edge than IE. Edge has much better support of webstandards than IE. And it is also good to have three major competing browser engines (from Firefox, Chrome and Edge). But Edge has never had many users, and Microsoft has given up making their own engine now. They are preparing a new MS Edge version build on Chrome technology (Chromium engine).
