*LMS *- if I restart my server, LMS memory usage is initially much lower (c.16%) and then gradually increases. So it looks like you're right about the expansion and plateauing. *Zombie process* - I can't remove the zombie; even sending SIGCHILD to the parent doesn't work. Killing the parent process just results in the window list/taskbar panel of the desktop disappearing (unsurprising, perhaps, given that the process is 'lxpanel' (https://wiki.lxde.org/en/LXPanel)). *Total memory* - mystery solved. It seems that at some point in the past I'd allocated 256MB to the GPU (I recollect experimenting with video, just for interest's sake). I've reset this to the default of 64MB and total RAM is now back up to 960484. All the above said, none of it can really account for the streaming/transcoding/"can't allocate memory" problem, as it was working fine for ages, even with 256MB allocated to GPU, and with the zombie proc (which obviously isn't using much memory anyway). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SpiderJon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21798 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110891 _______________________________________________ Squeezecenter mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezecenter
