I wasn't sure about download binary direct from github.com - I avoided it for repository xml and have used github.io URLs as it was intended for web pages - as they are very frequent downloads compared to the ZIPs but maybe it doesn't matter. Frequent downloads seems to trigger sourceforge sluggishness.
