THanks for pointing me to that thread, I've been trying to make sense of
it already, but I'm grateful.

In there, it discusses getting LMS full disk access (which seems to be
the problem) but I cannot understand how to do so.  One post indicates
you should give full disk access to perl, but unless it's done via
Terminal, I can't tell how one would do so.  DO you have any insight
into what I'm missing?

I found this (below) in my Scanner log, though I admit I don't really
know what it implies.  Any insights from a more advanced Mac user than
I?
