By "burned a new CD" do you mean that you created a physical CD and then inserted it into the NAS device and let it rip it? If yes - then there is a good chance that it tried to match the contents against a local or remote database and could not find it because your created CD did not match a known recording.
If you meant that you took an existing commercial CD and "ripped" it to make flac or MP3 yourself and then put those files onto the NAS youself ... then what did you use to make the files and did it insert tags? In ay case - what does the scanner.log of LMS show?
