I'm telling TIDAL to send the best quality stream available to the user.
That's a value which is returned by TIDAL, on which I can't have any influence. I've added some logging to see what values we're getting there. And up to this point I've only had "high" (lossy) and "lossless", but not "hi_res". Maybe no client with higher abilities has come across this server instance yet. -- Michael I am using iPeng and/or Squeezepad on my iPad to stream highres or MQA files via UPnP from Tidal to my Lyngdorf TDAI 3400. However, if I am using my Squeezebox Touch, TIDAL seems to be limited to 44.1/16. SqueezePlay on my Mac seems also limited to 44.1/16 although both players are capable of streaming hi-res files from my NAS. I have checked all plugins and settings on my LMS and could not find out where the problem is. So I came here and read Michals's response --- I guess Tidal's appetite to sort out that mess is limited since they what us to use their app. Qobuz however streams hi-res files (>44.1/16) without any problems, no matter what player I am using.
