Most common reasons forcing an update to 8.* 1. Server hardware and/or OS needs to be updated. For example, if you're still running Win95 on old h/w and not internet connected probably OK but clock is ticking to failure 2. Players getting old, wearing out, often displays on SB3 go first but WLAN, capacitors fail and also firmware getting corrupted. Newer players will need later than 7.5 3.
