Since Rhapsody is part of SqueezeNetwork, I thought I'd go to the Rhapsody site to check things out. I tried to play some songs, but was thwarted by Rhapsody's insistence that my browser was not supported.
I tried the following browsers on my Gentoo Linux system (all are the latest and greatest versions): Firefox 2.0.0.1 Opera 9.0.1 Konqueror 3.5.5 Seamonkey 1.0.7 (latest version of Mozilla browser) None was able to successfully pass Rhapsody's "supported browser" check and play a song. I even tried changing browser identification strings, but that didn't help. If SlimDevices is going to support Rhapsody on SqueezeNetwork, it would behoove Rhapsody to provide support for common Linux browsers. Not everyone is running Internet Explorer on Windows, you know. -- Ron Olsen ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron Olsen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9233 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31952 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
