That's a good question ratso, and I'm not sure I understand why either. I have two guesses:
For starters, is access to all of the Internet Radio stations available via Squeeze Network also available through Slim Server? If not, that me be one of the reasons. Second, I know you can stream Squeeze Network without your computer being on. So if you want to stream some Internet radio-based music without your PC on, it offers you this capability.
