I mostly use my squeezebox to connect to squeezenetwork to access MP3Tunes and Pandora radio.
It has been working fine but recently, I've been experiencing connectivity problems, even when my other computers on the same network with the same network settings can access the internet fine. I was able to access www.squeezenetwork.com as well. When squeezebox fails to connect, it powers down, and generally looses network configuration settings, whether set to DHCP or static IP. So when I try to reconnect, I either have to retype in the static IP (I use DHCP but tested static IP for troubleshooting), or select DHCP and let it get "the same" IP again before I can tell it to try to connect to squeezenetwork again (of course it failed again...). What's up with that? This makes it more tedious & time consuming. Why can't the squeezebox just retain the network setting if it just retrieved an IP via DHCP successfully 30 seconds to a minute ago (but failed to connect to squeezenetwork)? And when I do a static IP, squeezebox still loses the info if it fails to connect. Anybody else see this problem?
