As much as I agree with you on the ability to select a minimum bit rate, I can also understand SD's reluctance to add it. From a customer service standpoint many would select a minimum bit rate then call to ask "why am I only showing 3,000 stations on Shoutcast" and "why can't I manually tune in xxx station". Then there is the "partners" like Accuradio & SomaFM that would not play if your minimum bit rate was say 128k. Etc.... Remembering any tuned station is simple, just arrow right to save as favorite. Internet Radio tip: Use the BROWSE function of the Squeeze Network web GUI to browse, sort, listen to stations. The bit rates are right there next to the station ID (no need to arrow right to see the bitrate prior to selecting the station). From this well thought out web GUI you can then add to favorites, rename stations, organize favorites, etc.. -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=41059 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
