Hi all, I installed the most recent Gentoo distribution of the SC7 software (effectively beta20080203), which installed new firmware on my Squeezebox2. This SB2 now starts up with 'visit the squeezenetwork.com to sign up' showing 'Player PIN xxxxx' and nothing else. It doesn't respond to the remote for doing anything else.
I have visited the said website (usercode [EMAIL PROTECTED] for who can help), but can't register: the only registration mail that I got last weekend didn't work: "The activation code in the URL is invalid." and using the 'resend' button doesn't give a new mail. Going back to the slimserver software on the server works nicely, but as probably the SB2 player is stuck, the player shows up there (as in SC7) as 'player not found'. Now, I'm certainly missing some important point, but which: please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
