Check over on the 3rd Party Hardware forum, which is where most questions/expertise on this topic resides. You can run SqueezeCenter on various NAS devices, including most of the Buffalo LinkStation line. It's not plug-and-play, because the LinkStation -- like most consumer-grade NASs -- is designed to be a closed system dedicated to file serving that does not allow users to install new programs.
I am running SC7 on an older LinkStation HD-HG, and I know others are running on LinkStation Pro models. I don't know about the LS Live, and instructions for installing SC on NASs tend to be very model-specific.
