Yes you can skip the SqueezeNetwork setup in SqueezeCenter. just skip and add it later.
And if you have an old SqueezeBox the PIN is SHOULD be visible in the settings somewhere, but i Cant find it anymore since my uppgrade to 7.1 ? when you use the left arrow to enter setup but i cant find it ? or in settings "player info" in the normal meny ? Otherwise I think the player would display it's PIN when you try to connect to SN with a player thats not connected before ? this often acts up completely and force people to contact support.
