For some frustrating reason, Squeezecenter cannot see my NAS drives. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to resolve it with no luck. First, some background on how I got to this problem, as it was able to see the music files before:
1) Had Squeezecenter 7.0 (which worked fine), upgraded to 7.01 2) Restarted everything and tried rescanning - couldn't find any music files. Note - files are located on NAS drive mapped to U:, so in preferences, I list Music Folder as U:\ 3) Based on what I read in forums, tried 7.02, did complete uninstall, etc. and clean install, no luck. Same problem. 4) Tried restoring Windows system to old version. Same problem 5) One thing I noticed is that in Settings, when I select "Browse" for Music Folder, it only displays LOCAL drives, not networked drives. However, these drives are readily available using Windows Explorer. I can see files, open them, etc. But for some reason I can't get to them through Squeezecenter. My basic setup consists of a HP Media Vault/NAS with one mapped drive containing music files. I'm running Windows Vista and everything else is pretty standard. Like I said, everything worked fine until I tried upgrading to 7.01. But now, even going back to 7.0, I still encounter the same problem. Any suggestions? I'm basically stuck. -- andrew28 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ andrew28's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12132 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49217 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
