Nobody announced this? Well, here we go. Our additional SN datacenters have been up and running for about a week now. Two new server racks in Washington DC and Frankfurt (Germany) should improve reliability and responsiveness of SqueezeNetwork considerably.
These additions might be most noticable for us European users: as data doesn't have to cross the atlantic any more, interaction with SN using the player UI or Controller should now be snappier than before. If you want to know to which datacenter your Squeezebox is connecting, go to Settings/Informatio/SqueezeNetwork Information. Enjoy! -- Michael _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/squeezenetwork
