Yeah, you can use the wave input plugin, but I think it would be
easier/cleaner to have a dedicated plugin.

The Live Music Archive I was referring to is something that is already
there in SqueezeCenter.  They only feature concerts from bands that
don't have any restrictions on recordings of their concerts, like The
Greatful Dead.  There are local and unsigned bands, but some well known
bands like Toad The Wet Sprocket.  But nothing of the calibur of
Wolfgang's!
