I know there are quite a few forum members in the metro Wash. DC area. I
routinely listen to our local NPR news station (WAMU) on my SBs, and I
get a lot of dropouts. Usually not for more than 10-15 seconds, but it
seems to happen at least once a day. In contrast, other internet radio
streams dropout very rarely if at all.

I've bumped up the internet radio buffer to 30 seconds, and I *think*
the dropouts are now less frequent and shorter when they occur, but I
still get them daily. Do others experience this? Is it inadequate
streaming on the part of the station, or something else?

For anyone wanting to test it, I'm not near my SB right now, but you
can find WAMU under the Staff Picks, under US public radio, browse by
location (Washington, DC), or probably some other means. Thanks!
