Sorry if this is redundant, but I wanted to make sure I addressed my particular situation.
I am giving the wife a Lenovo netbook for Christmas, with MP3 copies of my FLAC library installed. I am also setting her up with her own copy of Squeezecenter and a copy of SoftSqueeze for her to use to play the MP3's and to also access the SqueezeNetwork goodies. My primary home network is wired and all the computers run on it. I also have a wireless network connected into the wired network, with a different IP range, but the same subnet. The effect of this arangement is that the PC's connected via wired canot see the PC's connected via wireless. I want it that way for security reasons - the important stuff is on the wired network, and the wireless network in unprotected, for access by anyone with a wireless laptop. We have 2 SB3's and 1 Boom. One SB3 is wired - the other SB3 and the Boom are wireless. The wireless connected units can connect to the internet via the link from the wireless router plugged into the wired router. I have SoftSqueeze installed on my music server running on the wired network. It works fine and SqueezeCenter can find SoftSqueeze plus the SB3's and Boom. On my wife's new netbook, I have installed SoftSqueeze and SqueezeCenter can see it. The netbook cannot, however, see any of the hardware units connected to the wired network, and that is OK. However, this leaves me with just the SoftSqueeze player connected to the netbook SqueezeCenter. SoftSqueeze on the netbook can access such services such as RadioTime and Slacker. However, it gives me an error message that I must be registered to connect to Pandora. I have set my wife up with a separate Pandora account and have registered it so that there are no PC ads and also to be able to run Pandora thru SqueezeCenter and SoftSqueeze. Even after registering, I get the error message that I need to be registered to use Pandora, both on the SoftSqueeze player and using SqueezeCenter.
