Thanks for you continued interest. Based on your inputs, I arranged a follow up meeting with lala. While both parties would like to provide integration, it doesn't look like their engineering resources will be available anytime soon to help with it. I can't speak for Lala and their business plans but as a small start up, I'm sure they are fully focused on growing their web presence so they can get the revenue flowing. That has to be their first priority. Adding a convenient listening device like Squeezebox, while appealing, and possibly even a revenue generator for them (we can enable purchase of downloaded music from the SBox by extending what we do with Amazon CD today), the overall numbers of players (and potential purchases) is small compared to their website visitors.
We'll keep in touch with them and as they develop more APIs to their service, we might have access to the hooks we need to do the integration. For now, we need a lot of help from them and they are otherwise occupied.
