While trying to play live365 radio station using softsqueeze, I'm getting the message "live 365 please log in, membership is free" on nearly every (non premium) live 365 station. I tried the same thing on my squeezebox3 and the stations played fine. I already have a live365 account that I entered into squeezenetwork and that seems ok but the message seemed to me to be indicating that I'm not logged on. It didn't appear that I was having problems getting on to squeeze network from softsqueeze so I was confused.
Upon further investigation, I noticed that my pin number had changed under squeezenetwork->settings->pin from what I thought it should be. I decided the best way to ensure my pin number was right would be to disconnect from squeezework, log onto the squeezenetwork web page with a browser, delete the softsqueeze player from my list of players, and start over so I did. My player reregistration procedure was as follows: 1. Navigated softsqueeze player to get onto squeezenetwork. 2. I was assigned a pin # of E669A 3. using a browser logged onto teh squeezenetwork web page, I navigated to the "players" screen, entered the assigned pin "E699A" and the player name and hit add. The player seemed to have been successfully added. 4. I went back to the softsqueeze player and I seemed to be logged onto squeezenetwork. 5. I navigated to the squeezenetwork->settings->pin and found that my pin number was set to EC4A4. Why was the pin number different? This pin did not match the one assigned and entered into the squeezenetwork screen to register this player. I've tried this 3 or 4 times and can't get the pin number displayed by my softsqueeze player menu to match the pin number that was assigned. I can't look at the pin number in the softsqueeze player before I enter it onto the squeezenetwork website to register the player because the softsqueeze player is held waiting for me to register the pin on squeezenetwork. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I suspect this is the reason that live365 thinks I'm not logged in but I'm not sure about that yet either. I'm running on a recently upgraded squeezecenter 7.3.2 debian etch system. Any help would be much appreciated. -- eschurig ------------------------------------------------------------------------ eschurig's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2175 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60816 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
