Yes, Sky.fm does update the URLs inside the playlist files,
say you visit sky.fm 's website under the title *Smooth Jazz* there
are few playlist formats, the most familiar format is *PLS* file, which
is winamp playlist, that is actually a bunch of URLs inside a text file
(you can open the pls file with notepad to see what I ment..).

naturally instead of simply clicking on the pls link on Sky.fm's
website you can download the file so you can hear music when ever you
want in winamp by double clicking the pls file you have download.

but- ...
every now and then, Sky.fm switching URLs inside the pls files, to make
you reVisit their website and download the new pls file. I've checked
the updating states, and found that sky.fm switching every 2 days one
URL was changed, finally after couple of days the old urls becomes to
old and slow.

-I loves to hear sky.fm's music selection, so I've made a little script
(a cmd file which is a small text file runs a few commands in series,
very easy to program), using a program called *wget* to download the
newest pls files from Sky.fm website, no browsing nor downloading by
hand is necessary.-
* you should download wget and put it in same folder as the cmd file
or- putting the wget inside another folder (say d:\softwares\wget) and
adding the folder location to the system's path (for geeks only :) ..)

look at the attached zip file, containing the ready to use cmd script
and wget exe file,

once you done this you can double click the SkyFmUpdater.cmd file, a
small black window will shown up and the pls files will be download the
the current folder.
you can get more URLs of pls files from right clicking links in
sky.fm's website and "copying the URL location", also you can make the
files be download to another folder's location, by replacing the dot in
--directory-prefix=. to --directory-prefix="d:\software\my music
location" or something like that.

if you download a program named *WinKey* you will be able to assign
files to key combination- say you would like the hear Sky.fm's "Top
Hits" Music channel with key press (for example {Win}+{T}) just open
the *WinKey* Program and add a new shortcut to your location of
*tophits.pls*, (select "all files" from the combobox of file's type in
the open file dialog), now select a XXXXXXX key combination (Win+T for
example)

when ever you wish to hear top hits just hit {Win}+{T} and the file
will open fast with in winamp or what every player assigned to open
your music files.
