At least a few of the music services available on SN supports multiple
accounts (Last.fm, Napster and Deezer at least) so you can have
husband/wife accounts for those (and if you couldn't, I'd be divorced
right now for sure). 

I would guess the reason that Squeezenetwork doesn't support multiple
accounts is probably because of the way it has developed.  It's
basically an online version of the Squeezecenter server software, hosted
by Slim Devices which allows you to connect to certain services whilst
your PC/NAS/MAC/Linux box is off.  

1 player = 1 connection to the Squeezenetwork server = 1 account.

Squeezecenter doesn't support multiple account users (although there
are open enhancement requests for this kind of functionality, at least
for multiple music libraries), so Squeezenetwork doesn't either.
