There isn't a "play only songs by this artist" option due to the particular licence that Last.fm operates under. Similar artists will give you tracks by the Cure and other similar artists (natch). You could try playing tag radio "the Cure" which should be a mix of all songs with that tag, but again it won't just be songs by The Cure but a mix of whatever has been tagged that way. "best of the cure" looks like quite a good tag to try. P.S. Glad to hear you've got it working. I am pretty sure that Squeezescrobbler should be available from the Controller as well as from the web interface though.
