I've been steering you to the SC UI so you get a better idea of what a Playlist is, how it functions, how to manipulate it.
You can create and save Playlists right from the Boom (or any other SB player). But what you create and save as a Playlist from your Boom is actually created and saved on SC while your Boom is connected to SC. Playlists created while your Boom is on SN will never be saved. To save a Playlist from your Boom - create a playlist from Boom (instructions in previous post) - navigate the Boom menu to EXTRAS - right arrow on Save Playlist (input a unique name) - My Music > Playlists will now show your new Playlist All Playlists are "temporary" unless you save them, even on SC. All SB players are server based and must be connected to a server..... somewhere, somehow. Absent a connection to a server your Boom is no smarter than a cheap alarm clock. So there is no way of storing any songs or stations on a Boom by itself. The only way to play non-server based music on your Boom is to use the Boom's "Line In" to feed it music from a portable player device (iPod, MP3 player, CD player, etc..) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66721 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
