Can you log in via computer to your SN account? Please keep in mind that the player registration procedure is a bit different for the new SN, now called www.MySqueezeBox.com, so this may or may not be required (or even work):
Short workaround, when screen goes blank make sure it's not just a brightness setting, try holding the LEFT arrow button to get to settings. It's inital attempt to log in to MySB should give you the PIN # in the players settings menu's. Here's a long workaround to at least TRY to get your PIN #: Get the SBS7.4.1 running on your COMPUTER (not your NAS). Put in your SN login info onto SBS > Settings > MySqueezeBox (new SN). Connect your SB3 to SBS on your computer, your SB3 is now registered with MySqueezeBox.com (again, the new SN). Now get your SB3 to connect directly to MySB (scroll to "connect to MySB", may have to arrow back to settings, then down). Once connected to MySB, on the SB3 screen poke around in Settings, the PIN is in there (somewhere). Write it down! :) Get your player back on your SBS by going to "connect to Squeeze Server", then on the SB3 go to Settings > Music Source, you should see your NAS SS6.5 listed, select it. Now uninstall SBS on your computer, try connecting between SS and MySB. Might want to keep SBS installed (not running) for a few days to make sure all is running properly.
