I'm just going to pile on to this thread because this issue has really been bothering me. My setup includes two SB3s, a Duet, a Boom, and an SB1. Everything works great with respect to switching libraries (because I can do it directly) except the Receiver (obviously the SB1 doesn't really count here).
A not uncommon situation is what happened tonight. Receiver and one SB3 are happily playing music off my local music server (I think SBS is the nomenclature this week). Local server crashes. It's the end of the evening so I'm disinclined to turn it back on. SB3 has no problems connecting to MySB.com (where I'm listening to SomaFM right now). For the Receiver I tried doing the Settings->Advanced... trick, but I just get the "bump" indicating that it can't be done.
