I have several problems with the new mysqueezebox and the new server. Maybe I miss some basic understanding of how these things work.
I was very satisfied with the new squeezebox server. The iTunes library loaded beautifully and works fine. Problem is that now the Squeezebox Boom will not even connect unless the computer with the iTunes library is also turned on. I can understand this is logical if I try to access the music library but why is this also the case if I just want to turn on the radio? This is a big draw-back. Further I'm uncertain of the relationship between the mysqueezebox.com and the local server settings that are available throught the server. Since introducing og mysqueezebox.com the settings of the boom are no longer in effect. The settings now seems to be controlled from http://localhost:9000/settings/index.html. From there I cannot change the order of the podcasts or the favorite radio-programs. And in http://www.mysqueezebox.com/settings/favorites all my old settings are still visible but not in effect. What is it that I don't understand and how can I regain control of my Boom? In advance, thanks for all help.
