As far as i know the sync option is only available in the player menu itself and not in mysqeezebox.com. It is working with shoutcast but it is not working with last.fm. Maybe there are some other streaming services it is not working with. When you power on your squeezeboxserver you can configure the player to use it as a proxy like funkstar mentioned above. Then every stream available can be synced with your players.
