Of all the things you are being "tracked" on using your computer, your selection of music should be the least of your worries. SBS > Settings > MySqueezeBox.com > Report Statistics > *do not report* I presume the default RadioTime plugin on SBS is there automatically to provide access to the RadioTime servers to utilize the Internet Radio menu items within SBS (where RadioTime provides many, if not all, of the URL's). MySB is used in the background by SBS for certain functions. You'll have to ask the Logitech developers why this is, I'm not a programmer. Though I'd guess some of the requirement for using MySB is related to licensing restrictions and limitations mandated by the third party services offered. No MySB account is needed at all in SBS, but this will limit you to only streams in the Internet Radio menu (which still uses MySB in the background) or your own derived direct stream URL's you enter into the "Tune in URL" function or entered as a Favorite. You will also have no SBS/player access to any Apps or Music Services or additional service functions (like RadioTime's folders, presets, location specifications). Just use your MySB account, install some of the many great and free Apps, let MySB do it's thing, and enjoy the music. You and SBS will be much happier in the long run. ;) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73555 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
