Okay. I am confused. There is a Podcasts Player "app" which I installed
from mysqueezebox.com. I installed this because I thought it was the
only way to get Podcasts on the new Squeezeplay-based players. It works
on all players but only uses the list of podcasts from
mysqueezebox.com.

Then there is the Podcast plugin installed with Squeezebox server. It
uses the podcasts list from the local server Settings > Podcasts page,
but only works on non-Squeezeplay-based devices. This is the one I think
Michael is saying is obsolete in the bug report.

Which are you referring to?

The Player > Menus page in the WebUI Settings does not exist for
SqueezePlay-based players/controllers (Radio, Touch, iPeng, Controller).
I have two Booms but I almost always control them with either a
Controller or iPeng, so uninstalling the Podcast Player app (if that's
what you're referring to) would still not help me (assuming I understand
things correctly).
