And then what is it supposed to do when you turn on the computer,
automatically connect to the local SBS running on the computer? Even if
you were in the middle of listening to something via mysqueezebox.com
and only booted the computer to read email? How is the lowly SB
supposed to know what you want it to do? 

You may also want to look at the SrvrPowerCtrl plugin, which allows for
automatic switching to mysqueezebox.com when the local server is powered
down, and reconnecting the SBs to the local server when it starts back
up. What you suggest is a very worthwhile feature, but it's not as
simple as you imply, as evidenced by the 1000+ posts on the main
SrvrPowerCtrl thread in the 3rd Party Plugins forum.
