yes, not connected to mysb.com. Maybe you don't quite see how these two things fit together. The SB players need a server to feed music and or make a connection between an internet radio service and the player. That connection is your server. You have two options for the server. One is mysb.com. Here you are using an internet version of the server. But with this you can't play your own music. The other option is to run SqueezeboxServer on your own computer. Here you can get internet radio, pandora, AND your own music. If you run your own local SbS on your own computer, you never need to connect to mysb.com. And you can get the exact same function as the mysb.com remote on your computer even if running your own server. Either use the webUI. Or if you want it to look more like the remote, download Squeezeplay (bottom of this link page, use the right operating system). Install it. Then go into settings>Choose Player and choose your SB player. Then you can control your SB player using SqueezePlay as the remote control. http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.5 -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83625 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
