Possibly the "Green Dam" aka great fire wall - what is incredibly odd is that I can stream the exact same stations [example those on Live365.com, BBC, etc.] using my iPod using "Tune In" or the service's own app without a single problem - with or without my VPN on.
As I understand it [correct me if I'm wrong here], MySB is a just tiny part of the stream bandwidth - functioning kinda sorta like a "remote control", switching users between streams/servers. If that's correct, it makes it all the more mysterious to me, but then again I'm not that bright. The problem described above [connections breaking, SB2 & Boom rebooting] occurred all day. Guess I'll toss in my virtual towel and see if tomorrow brings better service. Of course I could just switch over to listening via the iPod and say good bye to MySB.com.
