On 02/14/2011, after being a non-subscriber to last.fm since July 2008, last.fm. started me on a free "Trial subscription for early adopters of devices and mobile apps." Yesterday I made a $3 payment to become a last.fm Standard subscriber for a one-month period. During my trial subscription (and ever since July 2008 when I first began using last.fm with my Squeezebox) I rarely had trouble scrobbling.
But now none of the tunes I play via my Squeezebox are scrobbled. The Subscription tab on my last.fm Account Settings page shows that I will continue to operate on my Trial subscription until 05/18/2011, and then my Standard paid subscription will become active. I appreciate this, because it gives me 8 more days of my "freebie" Trial last.fm account before my 31-day Standard paid subscription becomes active. However continuing as a free user that can't scrobble isn't much of a benefit. I'm wondering if being in this "nether region" between Trial subscription and Standard paid subscription has somehow "confused" last.fm. In any event, it is ironic that after almost 3 years of unpaid, trouble-free scrobbling, I can no longer scrobble after having paid up. Any ideas about what the problem might be? Is this likely a coincidence with scrobbling soon to return after last.fm sorts out whatever problems currently prevent me from scrobbling? Thanks. -- radish112 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ radish112's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11591 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87639 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
