My two Duets and Controllers have been working flawlessly for quite some time now...mysqueezebox.com directly via the internet, and music via squeezebox 7.5.x via my dedicated music server laptop hardwired to the router.
Then I was forced to update to 7.6! Mysqueezebox.com works fine, but the music server is causing all kinds of problems! 1. My controller loses connection to my wireless network randomly. 2. Not all genres, artists, albums,etc. are showing up in "My Music" or "Random Mix>Select Genres". But, those missing items can be found when viewed via "Music Folders" To put it mildly, it's annoying. There has to be a way around this 'forced' music server updates!! 7.5.x work perfectly fine for me, but I can't stick to it because the player updates automatically to 7.6 when I connect directly to mysqueezebox.com directly. And I don't like wasting electricity by turning the server on just to access mysqueezebox.com.
