I had this problem as well. It appears that the duet needs to be connected to the LMS in order to switch to MySB.com. Once switched over it doesn't seems to need the PC.
I could get around it by switching the duet to MySB.com before turning off the PC. If the duet was turned off when connected to MySB.com it seemed to know that it was connected to MySb and would reconnect OK. The other way was to just let the PC go to sleep, and allow it to be woken from the network if needed by the duet.
