Wow. Bummer, WAF was already near zero due to intermittent flakiness (failures to reconnect to network without reboot of Squeezebox Radio, etc). Usually I defend the squeezebox setup despite her bias against it. But I'm at a loss on this one.
Ever heard of zero downtime, HA, etc? Or alternatively design a device that can play local sound effects without going to a network service in the first place (sounds and effects app).
