As noted, I did reboot my cable modem and router after having booms turn themselves off and/or show garbage when the preset buttons are pushed and generating error messages.
After rebooting, the problem with SB.com persisted, as did problems with other sites: slow or never rendered. However, with no further action, it cleared up later in the day, but all my presets were wiped out...?????
