Players own IP address are setup manually from the player or more normally using DHCP and so are assigned by the router (i.e. LMS has nothing to do with the IP address of a player). Since you have reconfigured your network you should make sure the LMS and players are all on the same subnetwork and have the same network mask, same DNS address and same host gateway address. If players or LMS have a 169 address then they have not been set up by router and DHCP has failed.
When players are connected to a local LMS - the LMS will give the player the IP address of the station to be played. So it is LMS which changes opml.radiotime.com into an numerical IP address for the player (i.e. player does use a DNS client). All these message indicate that your LMS (not the players) does not see the internet. Usually this is because network interface was not "Up" when LMS had started but sometimes there are opther issues. I suggest just stop and restart LMS (i.e. underlying system is not stopped or rebooted) and see if problem remains. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102040 _______________________________________________ squeezenetwork mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/squeezenetwork
